während der ersten hälfte des Jahres 2007 haben mich die zwei nachrichtenbeiträge über knut, der eisbär aus dem berliner zoo und seung hui cho, der attentäter des amoklaufs in amerika mit einer unmenge an bildern und informationen übergewaltigt.
die wahrheit über eine tatsache, die man nicht vor ort miterfahren kann, wird durch die medien aufgebaut und was davon wahrnembar ist, wird manipuliert.
die zusammensetzung der zwei berichten im video illustriert diese befremdende situation.

this is a personal report on media reporting about knut and seung hui cho, the news about whom was bombarding my first half of 2007 with imageries and informations.
while the two protagonists couldn't talk for themselves, the media representing the points of view of diffenrent agents, communities and countries, built up a strange ghost or the 'unknown truth'. the project reflects how the different notion of 'truth' construct the reality of their existence and our perception of it.
